Discover Greenwich – UK
Today we are back in the UK to discover Greenwich.
Greenwich is a South-East district of London. The town has at least one reason to be famous: it gives the name to the prime meridian, an imaginary line from the South Pole to the North Pole passing exactly through Greenwich.
In Greenwich you will have the chance to walk in its beautiful park and visit many interesting attractions, for example:
- The National Maritime Museum where you can find ancient maps, charts, and ships (you can see the Golden Barge in the gallery)
- The Royal Observatory where you can walk along the prime meridian, touch the oldest meteorite on Earth, and take a tour directly to the universe in the Peter Harrison Planetarium
- The Queen’s House where you can see amazing art exhibitions and gallery
Discover Greenwich, we are sure you’ll enjoy it!
